Este blog é fruto de uma pesquisa de 10 anos sobre a
presença da medicina na arte.
No início, a pesquisa era sobre o iconodiagnóstico, ou seja,
presença de sinais clínicos de doenças em quadros de arte.
Após ler uma reportagem da revista isto é, sobre o
uso da arte no ensino médico.
O médico neurologista José Geraldo Speciali, Professor da USP de
Ribeirão Preto, usava imagens de arte para ensinar medicina.
Depois de ler, me questionei: Quais imagens poderiam ser usadas?
Isto motivou a busca por encontrar obras de arte que
poderiam mostrar patologias médicas.
Fui aprimorando minha observação clínica. Aprendendo a olhar.
Espero que estas imagens divididas por especialidades
possam ajudar o aluno médico a estudar medicina através da arte.
Há também material sobre os médicos no cinema, que pode gerar
reflexão sobre a representação do médico na sociedade pelo cinema.
